Montreal is a unique city full of European charm and North American zest during the day, while at night it sizzles with creativity – the city is intoxicating and addictive, and a few days there could make you want to stay forever.
Here are some great things you can do in Montreal:
Visit the Botanical garden
The Botanical garden is located near Olympic Park and is Montreal’s largest garden with over 20,000 variety of different plant species.
I fell in love with this place when I was researching for my school project - the Japanese garden is extremely striking, displaying magnificent trees, flowers, and plants – you can also find amazing butterflies in the garden during February and March.
If you visit during winter you will find many amazing ice structures which are built on site – the garden also offers events such as afternoon Japanese tea, dance, and traditional food tasting.
Visit Old Montreal
I realized Vieux-Montreal is one of the most charming, and wonderful old towns, which makes it a truthfully different North American city – when I was researching for my travel blog, something unique I noted about Vieux -Montreal is that it is such a diverse city which welcomes everyone.
It has the largest gay population in the world – the city also feels very safe, is cultural oriented and very proud of their language, you can enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride or visit many museums, art galleries, and enjoy some French food.
Go to Bota Bota
Bota Bota is the place to relax, there you can really enjoy a breathtaking view, while relaxing in the spa baths, saunas, or in the steam room.
It was really busy filming, so I spend the last few days spoiling myself with a massage, pedicure, manicure and body treatment before heading back home.
These were my favorite places in Montreal, but thee are many more to explore!
